This guide covers Leicester Navratri, Garba and Dandiya events in 2026 rather than carrying forward an unverified 2025 Athena event featuring Rajendra Pala Band. The listings below come from organiser or ticket pages where available. Dates, ticket availability and programmes can change, so check the source before travelling or paying.
Sathya Sai Centre of Leicester: Navratri Garba and Dandiya Raas
Date announced: Sunday 18 October 2026.
Programme: Garba and Dandiya Raas after bhajans.
Organiser: Sathya Sai Centre of Leicester.
The centre’s 4 October announcement confirms a Navratri celebration after bhajans and says organisers hope to have live music. That wording means live music is tentative, not guaranteed. The announcement does not specify the exact start time or full venue details for this particular celebration, so contact the centre or check its latest notice before attending.
Read the centre’s official 2026 announcements.
4 Seasons Navratri 2026 at The Platinum Suite
Venue: The Platinum Suite, Cobden Street, Leicester, LE1 2LB.
Listing: Multi-night Navratri celebration with Garba and Dandiya, featuring Bakul Pandya’s Craze Makers.
The Eventbrite listing advertises the 2026 season at The Platinum Suite and describes live music and performances. However, its date summary and the dates written in the description are not fully consistent, so do not rely on the date range alone. Open the listing and verify the specific session and ticket availability with the organiser before booking.

Central Zone Navratri by NHSF (UK)
Date listed: Wednesday 28 October 2026, 6–11 pm.
Venue: Prajapati Hall, 21 Ulverscroft Road, Leicester, LE4 6BY.
Organiser: NHSF (UK).
The organiser’s event page describes an evening of Garba, Dandiya and community celebration for students from across the Midlands. At the time checked, the page stated that tickets were not on sale and that members of an NHSF Hindu society could access discounted tickets through their society committee. Confirm ticket access and any changes directly with NHSF before making plans.
